About Flaxlands Firewood & Solid Fuel Storage.

Flaxlands Firewood & Fire Supplies derives its name from its location. Flaxlands Farm is located a few miles west of Swindon in Wiltshire. We initially started a wood supply business to help offset the costs of managing two 10 acre areas of ancient oak and hazel woodland on the farm. Then we discovered what we think is a clever way to transport and store the wood.

Flaxlands Firewood & Solid Fuel Storage

Our woodland can only produce a finite quantity of fuel each year. So we looked around for other environmentally friendly and sustainable supplies of solid fuel. We researched other sources and learned about recycling waste wood and biomass briquettes. Both of them appealed to us and we decided that they made good business and ethic sense.

Now we supply our own wood, and these two other fuel sources to our customers in the area.
